    On February 6, 2019, the first weekly Bible seminar on the theme "the Revived Bible: a journey through the Holy Land" was held in the Nikolo-Ugreshskaya theological seminary.

    The purpose of the seminars is an in-depth study of Holy Scripture.

    The program of seminars:

    - study of the history of the Holy Land in the context of world history;

    - Holy Land in the light of these natural Sciences: national composition, geography, climate, flora and fauna;

    - Holy Scripture and biblical archaeological data (monuments of material culture).

    Within the framework of the seminars, meetings with domestic biblical scholars and open discussions on various topics related to the Holy Scripture and the Holy Land are planned.

    The seminars will be held on Wednesdays in the evening in the auditorium of the III course of the bachelor's seminary.

    On February 6, 2019, during the first Biblical seminar, priest Sergei Shilov presented a presentation on the results of his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The participants of the seminar learned about the plants of the Holy Land mentioned in the Holy Scriptures, saw numerous shrines of the Holy Land, learned about the peculiarities of travel to modern Israel, Palestine and the Kingdom of Jordan. Also, the participants had the opportunity to discuss numerous issues related to the pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
